I suddenly became somewhat knowledgeable after hours of sticking my eyes on the television for 3 programmes. 1 was darn hilarious, and the other 2 were very enlightening. Keep the hilarious one aside because only people who know who Jacky Wu is will know how funny his show has always been. Whilst for the other 2 shows, specifically In The Womb from National Geographic Channel(think that was the title of the show cos i forgotten what it was alr) and Into Variety talking abt religion from Channel 56.

let me elaborate more on the National Geographic show. it was actually showing the transition of pregnancy from the initial stage to the final stage. why it was enlightening because i actually learned that the unborn babies actually can feel what is surrounding them. like tasting what her mum has been consuming during the pregnancy through the dunno what fluid. (sorry i forgotten the term for that although i know the chinese term) AND they're able to respond to certain familiar music if it's play over and over again. (this is what we call the pre-natal teaching/edn) it was said to have a sedating or calming effect even when the baby is born. duh duh duh.. after that, they actually show us the process when the baby was born. no joke abt that because they actually film the process directly from the mother's vagina. this time round is abit different cos the posture the mum used to give birth was actually STANDING! (against the bed for support) can u believe it? my mum said that singapore hospitals actually dont allow such position for giving birth. alright, so the head came out first then the gynea pulled the baby out from the vagina. kinda eerie and disturbing when they showed the scene but it was really fascinating to watch the whole process. no, i'm not saying that it's a 'pervertic' show to watch the entire process from the woman's vagina but u really can sense how wonderful mothers are, and how painful the process was. now people, time to give thanks to ur mother because they really did a great job in producing us!

i see.. so this was actually a post dedicated for mother's day? haha...

went for dinner with my cousin and his family for mother's day dinner for my maternal grandma.. tml shall be my mum's turn. think i'm really going to get 'scolding' from my da gu gu for not appearing at her hse tml AGAIN! haha.. she's damn funny i tell u.

and.. i got an invitation to attend ocs social night. no choice since we've been friends for 6 yrs? :)
